1. Prior to Clayton Kershaw’s home run today, the last Dodgers pitcher to hit a home run on Opening Day was Don Drysdale. He’s pictured above warming up before a game on May 6, 1964 against Houston. Note that at this time, pitchers would warm up immediately before the game near the diamond, not in the bullpen.
